As a pastor’s wife she faces the pressures of living with that title and one day she decides to give herself a break and heads out to Colorado to visit a cabin as a retreat. However, little did she know that her former sweetheart is also heading out there with his own personal baggage. There in the cabin they meet and Annie now faces an additional challenge to keep herself pure for her husband and family. The author then gives it some twists so that readers will see the hand of God in the characters’ lives. This is Kindle edition.

Many reviewers found this novel to be fast paced and were engrossed in the book. They liked the characters and could easily distinguish characters that they liked from those who the author didn’t want them to like. In addition, reviewers liked the book because it kept them guessing what will happen and has unexpected turns. A reviewer noted that the book was fast paced which is one of the reasons why it is a book that several commented is one that is hard to put down. Through the life of Annie, many were also given insight of how it is to be married to a man that has a calling of a pastor. A reviewer shared how she often wondered about those working in the ministry and found her questions answered here. Christians also saw how God was able to work in the lives of the characters to fulfill His promise that all things will work for those who love Him. So many of them found it to be entertaining and highly recommended it.
A few reviewers however did have some issues with how this Christian novel turned out or some parts of it. A customer shared how she was able to predict some parts of the novel. This reviewer also went on to say that the plot was far from being realistic.
